Privacy
We keep only what the marketplace needs to run.
Account: your name, email, password hash or sign-in provider, and session. Profile: skills, rate, location, and whether you are available. Jobs and offers: the note you wrote, who it was sent to, and whether it was accepted. Messages: a copy of each email we try to send, so a missed inbox can be checked. Keys: a hash of an API key, never the key itself after it is shown once.
We use that data to sign you in, to match work, and to tell the other person on a job what happened. We do not sell it.
A poster sees the name of the person who accepted. They do not see other contractors' private profiles. A contractor sees the jobs offered to them, not someone else's offers or keys.
Delete my account, on the Account page, removes your user, sessions, profile, jobs you posted, offers, notifications, and API keys. Mail we already sent to the other person stays in their inbox.
The database is Neon Postgres. The free plan keeps about six hours of history, so a recent mistake can be restored from the Neon console. Older than that, we cannot bring it back.
